The short version

Kutub Library runs no analytics, sets no tracking cookies and sells nothing. You can read every novel on this site without making an account or handing over a single detail about yourself.

What we collect

There are only two ways your information reaches us.

The contact form. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you typed. We need the email address to reply to you. Nothing else is required.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server data for every visit: the IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This happens on almost every website and it is used to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, so no usernames and no passwords
• No payment details, because nothing here is for sale
• No advertising or analytics scripts. The site loads no third party trackers at all
• No cookies on a normal visit. WordPress may set one only if you leave a comment, and that is to remember your name for the next one

What we do with it

We answer your message. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not pass your address to anyone, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Who else can see it

Our hosting company processes the server logs, because the site sits on their machines. Nobody else receives your data. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in the inbox while the matter is open and are cleared once it is settled. Server logs are rotated by the host on their own schedule.

Your choices

Write to us on the contact page and ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Since we hold very little, this is usually a short conversation.

Children

This is a general reading library and it is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version you are reading is always the one that applies.
